MATCH REPORT JAGS 6 FORT WILLIAM 0

The Highland League champions coasted to victory after netting two goals in the first quarter of an hour.

Jags assistant manager Gary Hake said: "Although we went on to win 6-0 our goalkeeper Kevin Main had to bring off two great saves from Sean Ellis in the first half.  We got off to a great start with Paul Napier's opening goal in the second minute and we went on to build on that.  Fort pushed us all the way.  They are a good, young side."

Fort manager Danny Conlon said: "I was disappointed to lose the two early goals and we hadn't really settled down before they opened the scoring.

"We are continuing to make basic mistakes all over the pitch and we certainly need to become more street-wise.  Their goalkeeper had as many saves as ours and we still found ourselves 3-0 down at half-time."

The visitors opened the scoring in the second minute through Napier and the same player made it 2-0 on the quarter hour mark.

Lewis MacKinnon added another with a long-range effort which Fort goalkeeper Michael McCallum allowed to squirm through his grasp and five minutes after the break Davie MacRae got in on the act converting a Zander Sutherland feed.

Sutherland made it 5-0 in the 57th minute and Andy Low completed the scoring in the final minute.
