TRANSFER NEWS- LOW GOES TO LOCOS

It has been confirmed that Andy Low has signed for Inverurie Locos.

Low who was transfer listed last week came to Buckie in 2005 from Locos although he was to endure an extended spell out of the game, totalling around a year, with a serious knee injury before scoring what for many Jags fans was the goal of the season to clinch the championship.

"I would just like to thank everyone involved with Buckie Thistle for a brilliant six and a half years at the club," said Low. "I have enjoyed every minute of it, with the end of last season topping it all off.

"I came to Buckie to win the league and have done so.

"Thanks to the manager his backroom staff, the physios (they have earned their money with me) and the players for all their support throughout my time with the club. It was a pleasure to be involved in the last couple of years' success. They are a great group of lads."

In a message to the Jags fans, Low stated that they have been "tremendous" and backed the team to make it a hat-trick of highland league title crowns"
