NEW SPONSORS LOUNGE BOOSTS JAGS

As reported on this website earlier this week Saturday's home match against Keith (17th November 2007) was a complete sell out as Match Sponsors enjoyed not only a top class Highland League game but was also packed out by Sponsors watching the Scotland v Italy match on the two large plasma screens as well.

Buckie Thistle's Murray Duncan today said "we would once again like to thank all the sponsors at Saturday's match.  I think everyone enjoyed their day out even though Scotland did not get the winning result we were all looking for.  The Sponsors Lounge now provides additional income which is needed to run a successful football club.  We made the improvements required in the summer and this now provides a first class facility for sponsors on match days as well as an ideal venue for Committee Meetings for our club, the Supporters Club and the likes of Buckie Thistle Boys Club".

Places in the Sponsors Lounge for the next three home league matches in December against Nairn (December 8^th), Clach (December 15^th) and Huntly (December 29^d) are still available but are selling fast and anyone interested in either of those three dates is advised to contact Murray on (01542) 832170 daytime or (01542) 835660 evenings.

INACCURATE PRESS

An article in today's Press & Journal has reported that "there was a reduced attendance at Saturdays match v Keith".

This is incorrect as the gate receipts at Saturday's match were actually more than in last years corresponding league fixture and both the Sponsors Lounge and Function Hall were "packed out" ensuring a sell out, bumper day for the club.
