Three out of three against County
SCOT ADS HIGHLAND LEAGUE SAT 8 DECEMBER 2007
BUCKIE THISTLE 3 (MacMillan 10,26; Shewan 89) NAIRN COUNTY 0
Thistle deservedly wook the points at bitterly cold Victoria Park, with Craig Mac Millan (Franny / goal-machine) netting two crackers and Jamie Shewan (Local Hero) heading home a third at the death.
Manager Duncan Shearer was happy with his players performance on the day and commented "We suffered a bit of a blip, with our narrow, undeserved defeat at Greenock, then the draw last week at Cove, so it was good to get back on our winning ways again today. What can you say about "Frannie", you hardly see him, then he pops up to net two beauties, with Jamie (Shewan) adding a third at the end. We will now be focussing on next week's game against Clachnacuddin, one of my former clubs, who by all accounts did well today to come back against Locos after going two down."
More to follow.
