SFA Officials visit Victoria Park
Visitors at last Saturdays home match against Forres Mechanics were Andrew Niven and Frank Reilly from the Scottish Football Association and Graeme Sutherland (who is the SFA's Regional Manager).
They were up in the north for a meeting on the following day at Lossiemouth to discuss the SFA "youth development programme" for the future.
Buckie youth coach David "Parro" Findlay said "it was good to meet with Andrew and Frank and to have a good discussion on Scottish football and in particular the future for youth football in this country."
"They enjoyed their visit to Buckie and were both highly impressed with the facilities at Victoria Park, especially the new Sponsors Lounge and they could see the progress that has been made on and off the park, they are welcome back any time."
"Parro" went on to praise Graeme Sutherland "Graeme is doing a great job for football in the north and is also a great help with things like the new Moray Youth Development League which is now in its third year. We started off with one team, but now have three, at under 13, 14 and 15 levels."
"We hope to expand things even further along with Graeme in the years ahead."
