BRIAN NEILL EXTENDS CONTRACT
Buckie Thistle's championship challenge received a major boost at the weekend when Brian Neill signed a two and half year contract extension.
Jags Manager, Duncan Shearer said "we are delighted that Brian has decided to sign a new contract as he is a key player in our team".
"Brian has done really well for us after being released by Aberdeen and although we signed him as a midfield player, he has settled in well as right back over the last few months. He is also comfortable in a number of other positions which helps give me options when picking the team."
"Brian has also scored a few important goals for us this season and people forget that he only turned 20 two weeks ago so he will become an even better player in the years ahead."
Brian Neill said "I am really enjoying my time at Buckie they are a top Highland League side with two trophies already this season. The dressing room has a great atmosphere with a good bunch of boys. Also the fans are the best in the league and have been brilliant with me since I joined the club".
