Match of the day in the highlandleague  this weekend is the  buckie thistle v deveronvale  fixture at victoria park ,buckie (kick off 3.00 pm),with a large  four figure crowd expected supporters of both sides are advised to arrive at the ground early.

 The match promises to be a cracker of a local derby with two good teams and with two of the biggest supports in the league.

 Parking at the ground will not be helped by the fact that there is also a swimming gala taking place this weekend at the buckie pool, directly  across from the ground.

 So please arrive early so that you do not miss the start of this eagerly awaited fixture.

 The overnight forcast is for sub zero temperatures , so  insulation boards and covers have been placed over the two six yard boxes as a precaution.The pitch was inspected on friday afternoon and was in perfect condition for the match.
