Match report -- Buckie Thistle 0 Deveronvale 0
The Highland league's match of the day kicked off in glorious sunshine with a crowd 1,000 plus inside Victoria Park to witness this local derby.
Buckie had chances in the first half, falling to Macrae and Macmillan, but both were unable to connect properly with the ball and Vale's Blanchard dealt with the efforts with ease. Dolan of Deveronvale blasted over from the edge of the box after 18 minutes, then Lewis Mackinnon, who was later chosen as Man of the Match, responded with a cracking free-kick which narrowly flew over from 30 yards.
The Jags had a lot of the play as the first half drew to a close, forcing several corner kicks.
