Jags Fans urged to "get behind the team"

With Saturdays away match against Keith approaching fast  Jags fans have  been urged to "get behind the team" in what is guaranteed to be a massive fixture in the race for the Scot-Ads Highland League title.

Buckie Thistle President Mark Duncan tonight said "The fans have been brilliant all season, supporting the team in large numbers both home and away".

"There were a few negative comments at the end of Saturdays game at Clach and you can understand the fans being frustrated, especially as the team had played so well in the previous match against Wick."

"Everyone was dissapointed that we didn't win Saturdays match, none more so than the people running the club, especially when you consider the massive commitment we have made in both time and effort, like everyone else it takes several days to get over the dissapointment."

"Football is however always changing and you have to move on to the next match, last Saturdays is now history."

"It is vitally important that all Buckie Thistle fans now get 100% behind the team in this Saturdays match at Keith, which will without doubt  be the most important of the season so far."

"You have to look at where we actually are, it was only a few months ago when people were saying to me  "I wish there was only three or four games to go" and "I hope that I will live to see Buckie win the league at least once in my lifetime", well that is exactly where we are now, with four games to play, and if we win the remaining four matches then we will have a great chance of winning the league this season".

"I would urge all Buckie Thistle fans to get 100% behind the team on Saturday and to support the team from the first minute to the last, this will help the team greatly and could this year make all the difference."

So come on Jags fans -- get right behind your team on Saturday, AWAY THE JAGS!!!!
