The latest improvement at Victoria Park is the creation of the club's new Sonsor's Lounge.

Murray Duncan said "The new sponsors lounge has been created where the old boardroom used to be at a cost of around £25,000; and we have also improved the referees changing room.

The lounge can cater for 40-50 people on match days and includes two plasma TVs and an excellent sound system.

All the old photographs which we had on the walls of the boardroom were taken down and reframed, so they look like new, and we have also taken the opportunity to frame and put up a collection of photographs donated by the late Emil Wojcik.  A lot of these have never been shown publicly before and are a fair old age.

With the opening of the sponsors' lounge Victoria Park now has facilities as good as any in the Highland League, and will provide additional funding to help meet the running costs of the club.  It raises the profile of the club up another notch."

Mr Duncan noted that prior to the opening of the sponsors' lounge Buckie Thistle had not possessed the facilities to cater for corporate groups and that it brought a more modern standard to the ground.  He was also keen to stress that the lounge can be hired by corporate and non-corporate bodies; for example, a company with six guests can be match sponsors in the lounge for £200 plus vat.

Mr Duncan went on to emphasize the importance of fans supporting the new lounge to help develop the club both on and off the park.

"Fans can help the club simply by supporting a match in the lounge during the season, and with this in mind we have introduced a discounted "early bird" scheme for supporters."   Details of this is shown below: -
