Buckie Thistle Manager, Duncan Shearer, said after Saturday's friendly match "I was especially pleased with the performance of our goalkeeper, Darren Strong.  Banks O'Dee provided us with a tough match, as we expected, which was ideal preparation for the start of the season

"Dee" are one of the top junior teams and are very fit and competitive, we wish them all the best for the season ahead"

Top performers for Buckie in Saturdays match were: - Darren Strong, Kevin Small and Brian Neill.  It was also announced on Saturday that Kevin Small will be Buckie's Captain for the season ahead.
