MANAGERS COMMENTS
Dave Edwards of the Press & Journal interviewed Buckie manager, Gregg Carrol and Fraserburgh's Charlie Duncan after Saturdays match.
Buckie manager Gregg Carrol said: "The first-half was a bit of a non-event, but we knew it was going to be hard as we hadn't played for three weeks. With the wind spoiling the game we took the one real chance which came our way in the first period.
"Kevin Main made a couple of brilliant saves in the first 45 minutes, one to deny Willie West from six yards and an even better stop low down to his right, so we are very happy with another clean sheet.
"Once we got the second goal we controlled the game.
"Our players have worked hard at their fitness, it is paying dividends and the effort the likes of Davie MacRae, Mike MacDonald and Jamie Shewan put in is tremendous as they're working their socks off."
DISAPPOINTED
Broch manager Charlie Duncan said "We had Jamie Ralph and Marc Dickson suspended and both are quite physical, a couple of others played with the flu and Neil Main could only make the bench.
"This proves our squad isn't old or experienced enough to compete regularly with the best teams.
"We had a lot of the play with the winds at our backs in the first half, but I was disappointed with our final pass in the last third of the park, it wasn't very clever and we let ourselves down.
"In the second half when Buckie had the wind we played well enough, but although we were doing all right at 1-0 down with an hour gone, looking like we might equalise, those two quick goals finished us off, although I still think their third one was offside."
