MANAGERS COMMENTS
Six of the best from Craig MacMillan made it nine wins in a row for Gregg Carrol's men and moved Buckie Thistle into forth place in the Highland League - only five points behind pacesetters Deveronvale.
One wonders just where the Victoria Park men would be had they taken more than just four points from their first seven starts before Carrol's arrival.
Despite his team's wonderful wining streak, Carrol continues to play down his side's championship credentials.
He said "We go to Inverurie Locos next and have a home derby against the Vale the week after with no pressure on us whatsoever as they are the teams challenging for the title. They need to win. All we want to do is continue our recent good run of form.
"In this form there is no one who can touch Craig MacMillan. It was a great team performance as we scored the first goal, as we set out to do, and went on to build on that."
Shell-shocked Fort boss Calum MacLean said: "MacMillan was on fire and we just couldn't handle him. Buckie are one of the best footballing teams we have played all season and their movement up front is fantastic.
"Our keeper Garry McLeod had a tremendous game but he was struggling with a back injury, so we brought on 16 year old Ryan Hunter for the last quarter of an hour to give him a taste of Highland League football. The fact that he didn't let in any goals will do wonders for his confidence."
