MATCH REPORT -- CLACHNACUDDIN 1 BUCKIE THISTLE 2

The Jags starting line-up had one change from last week's win at Fort William, Brown replacing the injured Bruce up front.

Buckie started brightly and had two chances to score in the opening 10 minutes, a shot from the edge of the box hit the foot of the post and Macdonald had an effort deflected when it like he would score.

The Jags goal then had two let off's, a cross from Morrison fell at the feet of a Clach forward but he dragged his shot wide when it looked easier to score, the home side came close with a similar effort minutes later.

There was a delay when a Clach defender was strechered off injured.

The Jags went ahead in 37 minutes, a corner was cleared to the back post where Macdonald crossed back in and DONNIE MUNRO bulleted a header in off the bar, with a Clach defender on the line unable to keep the ball out.

                          HALF -TIME 0-1

Macrae replaced Macdonald at the start of the second half.

It was 2-0 three minutes into the second half, a great cross from Good was headed back across goal by Brown and CRAIG MACMILLLAN side footed the ball into the net.

At this stage the Jags were looking comfortable with the large travelling support looking for another goal or two.

This all changed in 75 minutes when a Clach free-kick was headed into the net by CHRIS ROSS.

All of a sudden everyone was looking at their watches and the Jags held out for a win, even with the referee deciding to add on a ridiculous seven or eight minutes of injury time.
