JAGS UNVEIL NEW SHIRT SPONSOR

new_shirt_sponsor_005_220Buckie Thistle have today announced a new shirt sponsorship deal with two local firms, Limehillock Quarries and Spey Bay Salvage Ltd.

The two companies between them employ around thirty people from their base in Spey Bay.

Both companies are owned by Mr Colin Murray who said "Limehillock Quarries Ltd  and Spey Bay Salvage Ltd are committed to having a positive impact on the local community and this link up with Buckie Thistle reinforces this commitment.  I have been a lifelong fan of Buckie Thistle and have sponsored the club on previous occasions.  We are proud to be the clubs new shirt sponsor."

Jags Development Manager, Sandy Sammon said "We are delighted to announce a three year shirt sponsorship deal, this is wonderful news for Buckie Thistle."

The new strip which features Limehillock Quarries on the front of the shirt and Spey Bay Salvage on the back, also has new black "piping" on the sleeves and is again guaranteed to be popular with Jags fans.

The new shirt will be available for fans to purchase later next week, available from Slater Sports, The Square, Buckie, who have once again kindly donated the first teams playing kit for the season.

Buckie Thistle President, Mark Duncan, today said "Given the current financial climate, sponsorship of this nature is very important to the club.

"Everyone at Buckie Thistle wishes to once again thank Colin Murray and Malcolm Slater for their continued support of the club, it is greatly appreciated."
