BUSY WEEK FOR BUCKIE THISTLE'S MAIN

alana_wed_220Jags manager Carrol hopes his goalkeeper can play in semi-final before going on honeymoon

Married on Saturday, playing in Keith on Tuesday and heading to Egypt on Wednesday.

Buckie Thistle goalkeeper Kevin Main is due to head off on his honeymoon tomorrow morning with his new wife Alana, but Jags manager Gregg Carrol hopes to convince his player to turn out for his club in tonight's Aberdeenshire Cup semi-final before he flies out.

With a place in the final at stake, Jags manager Carrol wants his strongest side available against the cup holders who have an excellent record in the competition.

Carrol said: "There is a good chance Kevin will be available against Keith before he heads off on honeymoon.

"I'm hopeful he can make it, but I need to talk to double check his plans before pencilling him in for the game.

"If he isn't there isn't a problem as Darren Strong did really well against Rothes at the weekend when he kept a clean sheet.

"I'm hoping he can play as Kynoch Park is always a difficult place to go."

Ian Murray who scored a hat-trick within 13 minutes on Saturday, is available but defenders David Angus and Paul Lamberton, and forward Martin CHarlesworth are still all on the injured list.
