MacMillan is head boy for Buckie

Craig MacMillan took his season's tally to 14 with a powerful downward header midway through the second half, the only moment of magic in an evenly balanced contest at Victoria Park.

Buckie Thistle manager Gregg Carrol said: "Who ever scored first was going to win the game, it just happened to be ourselves.

"We moved up to fifth spot in the table and if we can win our three games in hand we will join Deveronvale on 25 points, and probably have a better goal difference."

Locos' manager Dave Cormie said "There was nothing between the sides over the ninety minutes.

"We can't buy a goal at the moment, but I have faith in my players things will change, hopefully starting with our cup game again at Buckie on Wednesday night."
