The Jags starting line-up showed seven changes from Saturdays league match, Buckie started well and created several good chances in the opening 20 minutes, Inverurie opened the scoring 2 minutes into the second half and were then awarded a controversial penalty 10 minutes later to seal the match, Jags defender Paul Lamberton was sent off 5 minutes after the penalty award for comments made to the linesman.

Inverurie will now play Fraserburgh away in the semi-final in two weeks time.
