BUCKIE'S JOY OF SIX IN BATTLE OF THE JAGS

Strathspey's first visit to Buckie ended in a 6 - 1 victory for the Jags.

Martin Charlesworth was the first of six different scorers for Buckie heading the opener after 21 minutes, Ronnie Jones did have the visitors level eight minutes later, but Charlie Brown's fine finish five minutes before the break gave the home side the interval lead.

Joe Hardie collected a second yellow card for two fouls on the impressive Zander Sutherland and from then on it was a case of how many Buckie would score.

Bob Duncan grabbed a rare goal with a 25 yard wind assisted curler after 67 minutes before Craig MacMillan's 82nd minute close range header made it four.  Jamie Shewan then powered home a 10 yard header five minutes later before Lewis McKinnon struck with yet another header a minute from time.

Buckie manager Gregg Carrol was pleased to see his side hit the goal trail but also praised his opponents.
