Head boy for Buckie downs his dad's team

Lossiemouth manager Charlie Charlesworth could only watch on as has son Martin came off the bench for opponents Buckie Thistle to net the only goal of the game at Victoria Park on Saturday.

Charlesworth said: "The players gave it everything with little reward.

"Both teams had plenty of opportunities.  Buckie pressed us more than we did them but when we broke we looked dangerous for most parts.

"Just like last week a substitute made the difference for them.  I'll not name him but, suffice to say, there will be no Sunday dinner for him this week."

Buckie manager Gregg Carrol said: "I am happy with the team's performance.  Although it was close, I thought their goalkeeper had the best of the saves.

"We had a lot of good chances and a lot of good possession and their goalkeeper kept them in it."

Only four minutes after coming off the bench, Charlesworth popped up with the only goal of the game to sink his dad's side.

Charlie Brown was the supplier with a cross to the back post that was headed home.
