Note the plan for Glasgow University pitches at Garscube Sports Complex, Maryhill, Glasgow

Garscube Sports Complex is the University's sport and recreation site located at the scenic Garscube Estate, West of Scotland Science Park, Maryhill Road, Glasgow, G20 0SP.

To get to Garscube Sports Complex from Great Western Road you have the option of bus No 59 or from Maryhill Road bus No's 8, 10, 40, 109 & 119. Garscube Sports Complex can also be reached by taking the train to Maryhill Station.

Donald Fergusson, the Glasgow University FC Secretary has already been in contact and assures us that his club is looking forward to the game and a new 'first' in the Scottish and the visit of Buckie Thistle.

There will be room for 1 or 2 buses at the Sports Complex but there is unlikely to be any catering facility; he hopes to be able to let us know if the cafe on site will be open.

The Ram's Head pub is half a mile down Maryhill Road and is apparently OK.

The facilities are seemingly well up to date and nothing should be taken for granted as to the Uni's footballing ability, either.
