LAST CHANCE TO GET SPORTING EVENING TICKETS

A cracking evening's entertainment looks to be shaping up as Buckie Thistle Sporting Evening gets ready to swing into action on Saturday 27th February 2010.

The Fisherman's Hall is to be the venue for this sell-out event, with the doors opening at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.

One of the main attractions on offer will be the auction, and a mouth-watering list has been assembled for people to bid for.  Included on the something-for-everyone list is:  A Celtic strip signed by Robbie Keane; a James McFadyen signed Scotland strip; signed strips from Liverpool and Manchester United players; a Ronaldo Real Madrid signed strip; a Jenson Button signed photo display.

However, as those present on the evening will be delighted to discover, these are but a fraction of what will be available.

Looking forward to what promises to be yet another hugely successful event, Buckie Thistle's Murray Duncan said: "It is now becoming an annual event on the local calendar that everyone is looking forward to.

"We have two excellent guest speakers in the shape of comedian Stewart Smith and John Gahagan who is widely regarded as Scotland's top after dinner speaker.

"This will be the seventh Sporting Evening in a row for us, and it is the culmination of many months of hard work.  We hope everyone will have a great time and thoroughly enjoy themselves, while at the same time helping the club in this fundraising event."

The dinner includes an excellent three course meal, coffee and mints.

Just a handful of the £40 tickets are left due to a late cancellation and these are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Anyone interested in buying a ticket should contact Murray Duncan on (01542) 832170 (office).
