JAGS SIGN ROBBIE BROWN
Buckie Thistle manager Gregg Carrol was last night united with one of his most influential players when he signed midfielder Robbie Brown form Deveronvale on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The fiery former Dons youth team skipper, who also had a season and a half with Brechin City, was an inspirational figure as Carrol led the Banffers to two championships in a four-year spell.
Brown, 30, who broke an ankle in his first season at Pittodrie and also suffered a leg break playing for Vale at Fraserburgh, said: "I am lokking forward to working with Gregg and his assistant Gary Hake again. Gregg is a winner and so am I."
Carrol said: "Robbie is a player who can bully the game when he needs to. He has a great attitude, something we all saw when he was captain of the Scottish semi-professional side a couple of years ago."
