The home side increased their lead five minutes later when Andy Bisset scored his first goal for the Christie Park club.

Buckie continued to struggle and Kevin Main twice kept the Jags in the match with excellent saves.

A change of formation saw Buckie take a grip on the match and Huntly's Ross Bremner brought off a fine save from Craig MacMillan header from six yards.

Buckie were back in the match in 28 minutes when Craig MacMillan directed Tony Low's free kick into the corner of the net.

Buckie were now dominating the match with wave after wave of attacks and playing some excellent football.

Huntly's Mike Morrison almost increased Huntly's lead two minutes before the interval with a forty yard chip which clipped the top of the bar.

Buckie again begun the second half in dominating the play this was finally rewarded in 53 minutes when the excellant passing moves with Shewan and Brian Neill ended with Neill's cross being finished expertly by Tony Low who side footed the ball into the corner of the net from the edge of the box, a great goal!

The Jags went ahead 6 minutes later when Stephen "Marra" Bruce headed over Huntly's Bremner much to the delight of the travelling away support.

Andy Matheson replaced Graeme "Spider" Stewart who had played well after a slow start and Neil Davidson replaced Jamie Shewan who had received a knock on the leg when heading the ball clear.

The last few minutes of the match saw Huntly force several corner kicks but the Jags held out to progress to a home Semi Final against either Banks O'Dee or Fraserburgh.
