MATCH REPORT - BUCKIE THISTLE 0 FRASERBURGH 0
MAIN AND LEASK IN FORM AT BUCKIE
Both managers agreed a Highland League point each was just about right at blustery Victoria Park.
Neither set of forwards was good enough to beat goalkeepers Kevin Main and Paul Leask, who were both in inspired form.
Buckie manager Gregg Carrol said: "It was a very poor game adversely affected by the strong wind.
"The ball was never out of the air but, although we did create quite a few chances, we were unable to take any of them. Both goalkeepers pulled off tremendous saves but we'll take the point when others round about us also dropped points."
Broch manager Charlie Duncan was in complete agreement when he said: "It wasn't a good game and a draw was the right result. We didn't make any mistakes and kept a clean sheet, which is good, but neither side did enough to win the game. I think we showed too much respect for each other."
Fraserburgh almost won the points in the final minute but Kevin Main, in the home goal, produced a stunning save to deny Jamie Ralph.
