Grant on his way to Rothes

It appears as though Michael Grant is on his way to Mackessack Park after a transrfer fee was agreed with Rothes last night.

Buckie's Assistant Manager, Graham McBeath said "to be fair to Michael, he has never let us down.  But he has had one or two problems with his work and his wife has just had a baby, while they have moved house as well, so he has had a lot on his plate lately.

He also missed a few games for us and has found it difficult to get back into the side.  Perhaps this could be viewed as a good move for Michael at this stage of his career.

If he does move back to Rothes then everyone at the club wishes Mike all the very best for the future."

The Jags have also been linked in this mornings press with Bob Duncan of Cove Rangers.  Graham McBeath said "we have made an enquiry to Cove Rangers about Bob Duncan, so we are waiting to see how it develops.  We are still trying to strengthen the left side of the team, although Ritchie Davidson has been excellent at left back for us."
