MORE THAN 2,000 FANS ATTEND SCOTTISH CUP-TIE

Saturdays fifth round Scottish Cup match against Brechin City saw  one of the biggest attendances at Victoria Park since the clubs centenary match against Celtic in 1989, with the official attendance  for the Brechin match being 2,218.

Several Sunday newspapers had put the attendance for the match at 1482 - this information is totally incorrect as the total amount of match tickets sold for this match was in fact 2,218

Buckie Thistle would once again like to thank the fans from both teams for attending this match and for creating such a great atmosphere throughout the match.

The draw for the sixth round (quarter finals) of the Scottish Cup was made this afternoon and Brechin City were drawn at home to either St Johnstone or Partick Thistle, we wish Brechin good luck for their next match.
